The following activities are available for Sportstar Academy 2010. 

Applicants should choose their four top choices on the application form and we will reserve spots in programs on a first come, first served basis so please apply asap.  (Please note: Each activity depends on a minimum number of applicants for that program as well.)

The instructional sports programs are dedicated to skills, drills, conditioning, and team strategy.   Athletes first learn the skills of the game and then to execute and perfect them in the drills segment.  Finally, they learn to incorporate those skills into their game portfolio.  On and off court conditioning, sports etiquette and the “mental game” are strongly emphasized.  Aside from the iinstructional time, athletes look forward to the tournaments and supervised game play. The energy is high as all the skills and drills are put into practice. It is here that hard work pays off. 

The instructional arts programs enable campers to learn from masters in a group setting but at their own pace.  Campers will learn how to develop their own training regimens and will be encouraged to express themselves through their unique creativity.  Campers will spend more than five hours per day perfecting their talents in these realms or, perhaps, exploring these activities for the first time and will walk away from the summer with completed projects and routines as well as the tools to continue improving and developing in the future .
