A Letter From Joseph Stansky

Dear Friends,

As a child growing up with an immense love for tennis, I attended some of the best tennis academies in the United States.  It was there that I learned about determination, hardwork, discipline, respect, and teamwork - skills which at that time applied to sports but are most certainly essential life skills as well.

A little more than a decade ago I had a dream to bring my tennis academy experience to the Jewish  world and I created Sportstar Academy.  Over the last ten years, Jewish boys have been professionaly trained in basketball, hockey, tennis, soccer, baseball, flag football, and golf while studying Torah every day, praying three times a day, and enjoying mosher food.  We then expanded the program to include training in culinary and wilderness.

I always wanted to open a Sportstar Academy for girls and to expand the program to include even more activities.  Now that dream is becoming a reality.

Sportstar Academy 2010 will be shorter in length but expanding in scope.  Aside from opening all our previous activities to the new girls program, we plan to offer art for boys and girls, and  dance and aerobics for the girls.  The fact that the program will last for 5 days will add to the intensity and your children will walk away with new talents and skills for life.

Please do not hesitate to e-mail me at joseph@sportstaracademy.com if you have any questions about the program.  As Carlos Boozer of the Utah Jazz remarked when he visited Sportstar Academy, "This is one amazing program," and I look forward to experiencing it together with your children.

Sincerely,

Joseph
